For fall/winter 2019, Rolf Ekroth looks back at his teenage years, the 90’s, where Wu Tang Clan and sailing clothing collide in street wear culture on a background of mystic philosophy courtesy of legendary Japanese anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. The series based on people’s relationship to each other introduce the Hedgehog’s Dilemma, where the closer two beings come to one another, the more likely they inflict psychological or physical pain on each other. This teenage angst concept is transposed into graphical elements, logos and prints throughout the garments for a striking visual result. www.rolfekroth.eu
